Our hunting area
The ca. 16 thousand hectares of hunting area of our Associaton is located in Csongrád-Csanád county. Our deers are unique not only in Hungary but also in whole Europe.
The area enclosed by rivers Tisza, Maros and the Körös rivers already had unique natural resources back in the time of great migrations. The hundreds of curvy brooks and connected lakes, with vast reeds and meadows amoung them, hosted a special wildlife.
After the river control works of the 19th century new floodplains were created and these offered great opportunities for forest planting and agriculture. The natural plant communities and the forest planting offered ideal space for domestic game. Thanks to the quality of wildlife management of the recent decades the area has one of the richest and most colorful wildlife in the region.
